"I personally trace each x-ray, make treatment planning decisions, conduct parent discussions, fit the braces and carry out all adjustments, including removing the braces at the end of treatment and supervising the retainers"
Things change quickly and it is important to stay current. Every year Dr. Ferguson travels to the U.S.A. where he attends the American Association of Orthodontists meeting. This is the biggest orthodontic conference in the world and features many lecturers from differnent countries and a huge trade display of all the latest technology and equipment available.
The new dental licencing body, A.P.R.A., requires that all orthodontists complete a minimum number of hours of C.P.D. (continuing professional development). Dr. Ferguson usually completes far more than the required minimum hours of ongoing education.
At 54 years of age, Dr. Ferguson has over 30 years of dental experience. He recently added an Itero digital scanner to the practice and now offers Invisalign in a fully digital format. In the years ahead new and exciting changes will be introduced to the practice so that you, the patient, can experience the most up to date orthodontic experience available.
